For many people, the word finances produces feelings of stress, insecurity, worry, and even emotional pain or fear. Lack of understanding of how money works has been proven to lead to frustration, depression, and divorce. Today, the go to source for enlightenment on any subject is the internet. But it is often difficult to wade through the avalanche of theory and opinions we find there. Which is right? How does it apply to my situation? Worse yet, what will lead me astray? Though both are important, knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing. What everyone needs is wisdom to actually apply the learning correctly, in order to achieve success. To be more specific, a sure source is needed, that will lead in the right direction every single time. Information on finances is everywhere, but what we see is little evidence of real life-changing effects on people's lives. Financial literacy across society in our high tech age remains persistently low.
Pretty much everyone can benefit from doing the financial part of life better. Still, it is becoming more and more apparent that acquired facts alone have little impact---and information plus one's own personal experience is not enough. People are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom. There must be a way to process all that info; to integrate it into our own, unique lives in order for it to have any lasting, positive change. What is a solid, reliable way to do that? Find someone who has already mastered that area and be mentored by them based on their experience. Along the path of human history, there has been this one tried and true course for becoming really good at any ability, trade, art, craft or profession: learn from a master. All the great traditions in learning basically say the same thing, go find a tutor for the skill you seek.

CRITICAL FACT #1--The financial slice of your life affects everything else.
Improve this component of life and everything else is touched.
CRITICAL FACT #2--If you are not motivated and willing to learn, no one can help you.
If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.
CRITICAL FACT #3--Sometimes it is not just a matter of being able to distinguish between right and wrong,
that makes the difference, but also between good and best.
